Slouching Mom (who got the idea from Sanne) wrote a 26-word poem, each word beginning with a consecutive letter of the alphabet. She challenged others to do the same. Here's my attempt:
Adoption begets confusion,
Desperate events form grieving hearts
Inconceivable, jagged, karmic losses,
Many never overcoming parent's quivering relinquishment
Sorrowful thoughts, unimaginable,
Voracious wishes xhausting your zest

Oo, that's good!

Not only did you master the structure, but the meaning is so deep. Nice.
Thank you everyone! A poet I'm not, but I did enjoy the exercise. It has be come a bit addictive. I am now dreaming bits of new poems and have scraps of paper laying around with half finished ideas. Guess I don't have enough to do this weekend.
Really great!
Eloquent and thoughtful. Looking forward to seeing some of your new poems.
